Yoga is an expansive word that encompasses a multitude of beliefs, philosophies and practices and it may already have a myriad of meanings for you!
Yoga for me, is a lifestyle that isn’t limited to the yoga mat. Yoga is a powerful tool for exploring new possibilities, taking creative steps and experiencing the joy of the present moment.
It is a practice that has helped me to make sense of who I am.
I am consistently fascinated by my yoga practice, exploring how breath with movement gently opens the body and as movements slow down, subtle sensations are perceived.
As we quiet the mind, awareness grows and we’re able to unravel and let go of old patterns, thoughts and ideas. Over the years my yoga practice has kept me grounded yet open through countless life experiences.
Today, people all over the world use various aspects and forms of yoga to help increase their quality of life; enhancing such diverse areas as health and wellness, stress relief, vitality, mental clarity, healing, peace of mind and spiritual growth.
We are all born with the potential for expansion and transformation.
Based on our individual experiences fostered through the practice of asana, pranayama and meditation, yoga can help us find a route back to our true ‘self’.
Let's start at the beginning.
In Yoga a deeper breathing awareness is key to developing a grounded, balanced practice. By helping to improve breathing patterns, it can immeasurably improve the quality of our yoga practice and entire life.

Haṭha Yoga prepares the body, and particularly the nervous system, for stillness. It creates the physical strength and stamina that allows the mind to free itself, giving the opportunity for spiritual growth.
Gentle Yoga is a slower form of yoga with accessible movement. It’s perfect for tired or sore muscles, ideal for beginners, seniors or those seeking a slower, more mindful practice.
Chair Yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair.
It is perfect for students that find a typical yoga session challenging or for beginners and anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice or to develop their breath awareness first.
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that is passive, introspective and breath-oriented. The body is supported by props and remains in one pose for longer periods of time, nurturing the entire body and inviting healing.

Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, it helps you release stress while making you feel fully refreshed and completely relaxed. It alters your brain chemistry to be more productive, focused, and creative. With Yoga Nidra you can fall asleep faster and have a better, deeper, and more peaceful sleep.
It also makes meditating simpler, easier, more effective and powerful.

I am fully certified by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance. I received my training from triyoga – one of Europe’s top and most respected yoga organisations – completing their two-year, 390-hours diploma under the mentorship of Susannah Hoffman, Jeff Phenix, and Carlos Pomeda.
My approach to teaching is inclusive and friendly. Trained in many aspects of yoga, my style combines gentle breath-based movement with precise instruction, alignment and creative sequencing – incorporating the teachings of yoga in an enquiring way that helps makes sense of the modern world.
I aim to motivate and empower students to explore their own potential and deepen their awareness. We are all born with the potential for expansion.
I believe yoga should be inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. Everyone can benefit from some form of yoga whether it be breath awareness, meditation or the physical forms of asana (postures).
This inclusive approach motivated me to explore gentler forms of yoga, including restorative and chair yoga, and lead me to furthered my studies under the guidance of Anna Ashby and Chris Swain on Anna Ashby's Restorative Yoga Teacher Training at triyoga.
I have studied and practiced with many inspirational teachers that I am very thankful to - including:
Susannah Hoffman, Jeff Phenix, Ayla Gill, Anna Ashby, Jenny Potter, Chris Swain, Andrew McGonigle, Sally Kempton and Bridget Woods Kramer. These teachers inspire me to continue learning, continue teaching and live a joyful and content life.
